Canadians Support Things Because They Support Things

No one supported Georgia or was against the annexation of Crimea.

Strange:

An overwhelming majority of Canadians support Ukraine in its war against Russia, but there’s some skepticism about what — if anything — Canada should do more of in order to support its ally, according to a new poll.

Seventy-one per cent of Canadians would like to see Ukraine win the war, compared to just three per cent who are pro-Russia, according to a new Postmedia-Leger poll. Still, some are on the fence: 11 per cent of poll respondents say they don’t know who they support and 15 per cent say they support neither country in the battle that has caused economic effects far beyond the borders of the two countries.

Alright! Cheap imported labour that might replace the need to beg South Korea for stuff!:

The Ontario armoured vehicle maker Roshel employs 80 uprooted Ukrainians among a staff of 300, and is looking to bring in more.

Utkin is among the latest to be hired. He just landed in Canada on Jan. 20.
