The Craven Will to Appeal to Hamas

The Liberals' willingness to pander to anyone for votes would normally put most voters off.

Not so much in Canada.

The embrace of communism -

(Sidebar: let us no longer pretend that it is socialism, communism's convenient euphemistic term.)

- has produced a population so ovine and willing to tolerate evil that the landmass has become unrecognisable.

Behold:

One person was arrested and at least three people were injured at Concordia University after an altercation related to the Israel-Hamas war lasted nearly three hours and turned violent, police said Wednesday.

Montreal police (SPVM) said they were called to the university in downtown Montreal at around 1:30 p.m. and helped security guards manage two groups of students at the Henry F. Hall Building.

Police say the conflict "degenerated" between the two student groups. Concordia confirmed the clash involved "Pro-Israel and pro-Palestinian groups, including students but also people from outside our community."

CTV forgot this classy exchange:

**

“Go back to Poland, sharmouta!” says one man in a widely circulated video of the incident; “sharmouta” is an Arabic slur for “whore.”

He was later identified as Yanise Arab, a humanities professor at the University of Montreal specializing in “dominance and resistance in the Arab world.”

Another video with 2.4 million views shows a woman screaming a string of obscenities at Jewish students — and went viral in part because she appears to be saying the word “k–e,” a Jewish slur dating back to the 19th century.

The woman was quickly identified as a 29-year-old who uses they/them pronouns, -

(Sidebar: because of course she does.)

- but in an interview with the Montreal Gazette they said they used the word “cunt.” “I didn’t even know what that word meant before this blew up,” they said (the Gazette honoured the woman’s request to remain anonymous).

Concordia has been a hotbed of anti-semitism for years.

Where are the donors on this?

Doesn't this bother our political betters?

**

Canadian Anti-Hate Network (CAHN) Chair Bernie Farber said it is unequipped to document pro-Hamas sentiments increasing in Canada.

How hard is it to condemn beheading infants, Bernie?

Don't you receive enough public funding?

**

Shouldn't these people have their bank accounts frozen:

As of writing, protestors are targeting the entries to parking lots at Wellington and Bank, Kent, and Lyon that serve MPs and parliamentary staff, to demand "clear action" on the growing humanitarian disaster.

Where is Zexi Li on this?

Shouldn't she be throwing things at these guys?

Surely she can hear them from her apartment, right?

Aren't the MPs upset enough to call for mass arrests?

But no!

The Liberals have taken upon themselves to not only bring in Hamas and its supporters into Canada but provide everything else they want:

Immigration Minister Marc Miller says the immigration status and supports available for evacuees who escape from Gaza Strip will have to be determined based on individual circumstances once people make their way to Canada.

And I trust Marc Miller to be as vigilant about this as a sleeping man might.

**

Evacuees who escape from the Gaza Strip will need help to access mental-health care and housing, as well as assistance to get other family members out of the embattled Palestinian territory, the Canadian Council for Refugees said Thursday.

The slow trickle of people allowed through the highly controlled Rafah border crossing out of Gaza has so far included107 people on Canada's list of anticipated evacuees, and they are only allowed to remain in Egypt for 72 hours.

The list includes Canadian citizens and permanent residents, as well as eligible family members who don't have immigration status in Canada.

They are not Canadians and have no vested interest in this country.

But they will vote Liberal.

That is Justin's ONLY concern:

On Thursday morning, bullet holes were found in the doors of two Jewish schools in suburban Montreal. The incidents came two days after the overnight firebombing of a Montreal synagogue and the offices of Federation CJA, a Jewish community organization.

“We condemn this antisemitic violence in the strongest possible terms,” Trudeau said at a press conference later Thursday morning. “This hatred has no place here in Montreal, in Quebec or in Canada.”

He should have left it at that. But Trudeau seems unable to help himself. He continued: “We have to remember who we are. I know emotions are running high — that people are fearful, they’re in mourning. But to attack one another as Canadians, it’s not what we do.”

Is he suggesting that being “in mourning” is a possible justification for what happened? Perhaps he needs a reminder of the facts.

On Oct. 7, Hamas terrorists stormed into Israel and committed what can only be described as a pogrom against Israeli Jews — mutilating infant babies, shooting indiscriminately at civilians, murdering parents in front of their children and sodomizing young women. In response, Israel launched a military invasion of Gaza to root out Hamas.

Some Canadians are opposed to Israel’s actions in Gaza and have taken to the streets in protest, as is their right. But shooting up a Jewish day school is not an act of protesting the actions of a foreign government. It is a clear and direct message to Jewish-Canadians: “It is you who is our enemy and even your children are not safe.”

This is far beyond the pale of legitimate democratic discourse, and it would behoove the leader of our country to condemn such an act in clear and concise terms, without insinuating that the motivation behind it might in any way be worth pondering. It is not.

And this was not the first time Trudeau has watered down his comments about violence against Canadian Jews. It wasn’t even the first time he did it this week.

On Wednesday, he said that the rise in antisemitism Canada has witnessed in recent weeks is “terrifying. Molotov cocktails thrown at synagogues, horrific threats of violence targeting Jewish businesses, targeting Jewish day cares with hate. This needs to stop, this is not who we are as Canadians.”

But Trudeau can’t just denounce antisemitism on its own. In his very next breath, he condemned the “rise of Islamophobia we’re seeing across this country.”

Yes, because Islamists comprise his voters block.

The ugliness is not restricted only to Canada.

The US is also infected with hatred and thuggery:

Islamists and leftists invaded a Jewish neighborhood in Los Angeles and threatened a Holocaust museum that was going to screen uncensored images and videos of the Hamas atrocities carried out on Oct 7

Fake news had been spread that Gal Gadot would host the Museum of Tolerance screening. (She was not even there.) And that Hollywood celebrities would be there. (They were not.) The actual attendees were mostly Jewish and activist community figures.

The screening location was supposed to be kept private, but leftist community organizers got word of it and began organizing and planning online disruptions. Islamist supporters of Hamas soon joined in. But the various groups never agreed on an overall plan.

The screening location at the Museum of Tolerance was was supposed to be secrets, but leftist community organizers got word of it and began organizing and planning online disruptions. Islamist supporters of Hamas soon joined in. But the various groups never agreed on a plan.

Some leftists and Islamists wanted JVP, a pro-terrorist front group that has provided cover for the pro-Hamas protests on account of claims by its members to be ‘Jewish’ to handle the protest to avoid accusations of antisemitism. But JVP never showed up. ...

The Museum of Tolerance had been getting harassing and threatening phone calls throughout the previous day warning that going ahead with the screening would be “unsafe.” An FBI advance team showed up and there was a large LAPD presence.

In the evening, when the screening was set to go forward, separate groups of pro-terror leftists and a contingent of Muslim supporters of Hamas arrived brandishing ‘Palestinian’ terror flags.

This is when things got ugly.

Following standard Antifa tactics, the leftists illegally entered the area by the entrance of the Museum of Tolerance and began baiting the most older Jewish community members rallying outside with flags, instead of remaining across the street where the pro-terror Muslims were.

The Museum of Tolerance is located on a major street, Pico Blvd, in a Jewish area known as Pico-Robertson. There is plenty of Jewish foot traffic here with a major high school located directly next to the museum and a number of synagogues and Jewish study centers where teens go.

It did not take long before the pro-Hamas Muslims ran into local Jewish teens, some on the way to rally in front of the museum, others just walking around their neighborhood. Some of the teens who were carrying Israeli flags or driving cars with Israeli flags were attacked.
