What Does It Mean When You Shill for China and Iran, Justin?

It's as pathetic as the knee-jerk anti-Americanism that passes for campaigning:

As grocery prices and affordability remain a central focus for Canadians, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and Conservative Leader Pierre Poilievre are sparring over whether a prominent Conservative advisor lobbied for Loblaw — a frequent target of scrutiny over food costs.

Trudeau says that Poilievre owes Canadians an explanation why one of his chief advisor’s firm is registered to lobby the Ontario government on behalf of Loblaw.

Now, about that:

Opposition parties are protesting the Liberal government’s decision to give $12 million to one of Canada’s largest grocery chains to help make its refrigerators better for the environment.

The announcement sparked ridicule and outrage on Parliament Hill, where MPs from both sides of the political spectrum cast the funding agreement with the Loblaws chain as another example of how the Trudeau government favours big corporations and the rich.
