The Plant Who Failed the Housing Department Now Wants Taxpayers to Fund Sports
Because there is no other pressing need, apparently:
Housing Minister Gregor Robertson is directing a Crown bank to finance “sports infrastructure,” Access To Information records show. Use of public money in sports was a priority, he said: “Investment areas of interest will emerge over time.”
Housing Minister Gregor Robertson yesterday accused critics of scapegoating immigrants over the housing crisis though his own department said immigration contributed to housing shortages. Caught in Question Period, Robertson told jeering MPs: “There is a difference between immigrants and immigration.”
