Erin O'Toole Is A Pansy and A Back-Stabber

Prove me wrong:

Conservative Leader Erin O’Toole says he disagrees with a petition before the House of Commons — sponsored by a member of his caucus — that calls into question the science behind COVID-19 vaccines.

O’Toole says he has faith in Health Canada and in the advice provided by Canada’s chief public health officials.

Where does one start with this?

Perhaps with the petition itself

Whereas:
  • The Government of Canada does not conduct independent safety testing of vaccines;
  • COVID-19 vaccine manufacturers are being granted legal immunity and will not be legally or financially liable for injuries or deaths caused by their products;
  • COVID-19 vaccine development is being rushed;
  • Standard, prudent safety protocols, such as prior animal testing, are being waived;
  • COVID-19 vaccines currently under development are not tested against an inert placebo and are utilizing never before implemented technology that injects manufactured genetic materials;
  • Long-term adverse effects of COVID-19 vaccination may not be known for many years;
  • No coronavirus vaccine has ever been approved because of serious adverse effects, including death to test animals, due to pathogenic priming;
  • COVID-19 vaccines are not designed to prevent infection or transmission; and
  • Bypassing proper safety protocols means COVID-19 vaccination is effectively human experimentation.
We, the undersigned, Citizens of Canada, call upon the Government of Canada to
1- Preserve and protect our ethical, legal, and moral right to informed consent;
2- Legally ensure COVID19 vaccines are voluntary. This choice must be without disadvantage or prejudice;
3- Require that vaccine safety studies comply with standards equal to or exceeding other pharmaceutical products;
4- Create an independent committee with a broad range of stakeholder representatives, including citizen vaccine safety advocates;
5- Ensure no committee member has intellectual or financial conflicts of interest with the pharmaceutical or medical industry;
6- Grant this committee the power to independently review applications for approval of all vaccines, including COVID-19; and
7- Develop a vaccine injury compensation program whereby vaccine manufacturers are responsible for paying all costs related to the compensation for those injured or killed by their vaccines.

As one can see, the e-petition calls for consent, voluntary vaccination, safety studies, a citizen committee, no conflicts of interest, a review of applications for all vaccines and compensation in the event this hastily-produced and administered vaccine does cause harm or death.

Can anyone say it won't?

(Sidebar: please see here.)

Did this petition - not written but sponsored by Derek Sloan - say with absolute certainty that this vaccine was safe or unsafe or effective or ineffective? I've pasted the petition was it was written in its entirety. It's all there. Is there a missing or misinterpreted section? Did Mr. Sloan or the petition-writer ever say that any or all vaccines used in the Western world since the twentieth century were bad in some way? I should like to see some evidence of that. Screaming "anti-vaxxer" is as concrete a proof as denying that the world is flat.

But why go there?

I do know why Erin O'Toole went there.

Already liberal in his views and in a tentative position as some sort of weak opposition, he couldn't be bothered to do any cursory research into his fellow party member's stance (which would have disabused Mr. O'Toole of any anti-vaccination notion) or openly and stringently questioned the chief public health official's knowledge that the coronavirus could be spread to humans, that flights from hot zones should be banned, that masks were effective and must we rehash masks in the boudoir? Is there anyone alive who still trusts that quack?

Does Mr. O'Toole trust an incompetent and clearly autocratic government that once signed a deal with the Chinese for a vaccine, then could not acquire it but has now managed to mooch a small quantity of this unproven vaccine after generating enough fear about it? This is the government his constituents should trust?

Rather than asking pertinent questions or even speaking with Derek Sloan, MP Girl Name attempted to throw him under the bus to save face.

I hope that this blows up on him.

Also:

The Department of National Defence is refusing comment that it advised members, including young reservists, they will get rationed Covid-19 vaccinations before the frail and elderly. Health Minister Patricia Hajdu said a portion of vaccine shipments must be ‘protected’ by the federal government: “Supplies will be limited at the outset.”
