Wow, People Really Have a Handle On This Coronavirus

Because they did such a wonderful job the last time:

Recent cell phone data also shows people continue to travel from region to region across the province, increasing the risk of COVID-19 spreading from areas of high rates of transmission to lower transmission areas. The chief medical officer of health has been clear province-wide action is needed to break these trends.

In short, we need to halt the virus in its tracks.

That is why our government has put in place urgent, time-limited measures to slow the transmission of COVID-19 in our province, to keep people at home and prevent our hospitals from becoming overwhelmed in coming weeks.

Why didn't your boss shut everything down on Monday then, Miss Elliott?

Where is that $187 billion, Infrastructure Barbie?:

Ottawa's residents and politicians are not taking this news lightly, and many took to Twitter to express their frustrations with the province. Ottawa Centre MP Catherine McKenna, known for supporting left wing causes, tweeted her opposition to the lockdown.

She retweeted the official statement from Ottawa Public Health, which calls the lockdown disappointing. She tweeted a quote from Ottawa's Medical Officer of Health Dr. Vera Etches, which says "I am disappointed with the decision by the provincial government to apply a 28-day shutdown on the city of Ottawa and I have asked the provincial govt to reconsider a two-week shutdown for Ottawa, one that would be as short as possible in consideration of the evidence."

Pile on Doug Ford. That way, we can focus on his screw-ups and not on yours

If only he had praised Kim Jong-Un and Xi Jinping:

The Canadian Forces has taken away the uniform of one of its members who called on military personnel to disobey orders to help in the distribution of the COVID-19 vaccine and is now trying to release the man from the ranks.

Officer Cadet Leslie Kenderesi appeared and spoke at an anti-lockdown rally Dec. 5 in Toronto dressed in his Canadian Forces uniform. He spoke out about the COVID-19 vaccine, claiming it was a “killer.”

If I were the pastor, I would refuse to pay that fine

The Harvest Bible Church in Windsor, Ontario released a press statement on Thursday claiming that the church's lead pastor, Dr. Aaron Rock, has been fined up to $100,000 and could face a year in prison for holding church services.
