Nothing Happened Here

The Chinese government (with whom we trade) has barred foreign journalists from entering China to mark the twentieth anniversary of the Tiananmen Square protests in late May and early June of 1989. Internet and Twitter blocks are also in effect.

There were no killings in Tiananmen Square.

There were no arrests.

The Chinese government is all-powerful and benevolent.

Nothing happened here. (And, no, relativism is not disgusting.)

Move on.
