The President Who Stole Christmas

Political Prisoners

Um, About That...

I'm not judging anyone nor am I angry. I'm just saying the usual colour of pumpkins is orange.

Unless this is a new Halloween fad. That's fine, too.

I would just like to know.

Pre-Conditions

So goes Syria, so goes Iran:

President Barack Obama announced Friday that he had spoken by telephone with Iran's president Hasan Rouhani — the first direct conversation between leaders of both countries since Iran's Islamic revolution in 1979.

In hastily arranged remarks in the White House briefing room to announce the breakthrough, Obama also sharply scolded congressional Republicans demanding that he agree to roll back Obamacare in return for avoiding a government shutdown or raising America’s debt limit.

“That’s not going to happen,” the president declared. “Do not threaten to burn the house down simply because you haven’t gotten one hundred percent of your way.”

(Sidebar: so says Tantrum Boy)

It is no accident or coincidence that Iran contacts the very man who promised to meet with Iranian leaders without pre-conditions and who after student uprisings in 2009 did nothing. If Iran was truly interested in peace, would it have contacted the US before Russia spiked the ball for Syria? That rotten meat stench one smells is the US' foreign policy.

Rouhani is no fool nor is he a reformer.

Watch another Obama flop in the making.

The Patchouli Jihadist

Leftist douchebaggery at its usual douchebaggiest:

(WARNING: foul language therein and, well, this guy's a douchebag, so, viewer discretion is advised)

Well, This Must Be Embarrassing

The  fact is that the IPCC’s climate models need fixing. Prima facie evidence is that they cannot even track the evolution of broadest measure of climate, the earth’s average temperature, for the last 10-20 years.

Despite this being widely obvious to everyone, it didn’t find its way into the scientific literature (although not without trying) until earlier this month.

As a result, the latest science on two key issues: how much the earth will warm as a result of human greenhouse gas emissions, and how well climate models perform in projecting the warming, are largely not incorporated in the new IPCC report.

Which renders the new IPCC report, and its “four years’ work by hundreds of experts” not only obsolete on its release, but completely useless as a basis to form opinions (or policy) related to human energy choices and their influence on the climate.

The IPCC report should be torn up and tossed out, and with it, the entire IPCC process which produced such a misleading (and potentially dangerous) document.

Scientists working on the most authoritative study on climate change were urged to cover up the fact that the world’s temperature hasn’t risen for the last 15 years, it is claimed.

Public policy is decided on this sort of faulty science and that affects everything. One must remember that when considering the rising costs of energy, food and other necessities as well as what money governments spend on so-called green policies.

And now, the shallow end of the Canadian celebrity intellectual pool (part three- do see parts one and two):

"Violence not one of the pillars of the Muslim religion"

(from a comment posted here)

All were fleeing the bloody massacre unfolding around them as they saw terrified fellow shoppers mercilessly executed after being singled out as non-Muslim.

Men, women and children were lined up and then gunned down with AK-47s after failing to name the Prophet Mohammed’s mother or recite passages from the Koran – sure-fire proof they were ‘kafirs’, or non-believers.

Others fled and sought refuge in shops, bank vaults and store rooms as grenades exploded and bullets fired around them.

The fortunate ones managed to emerge blood-splattered and terrified, with the wounded pushed out in shopping trolleys.

Men were said to have been castrated and had fingers removed with pliers before being blinded and hanged.

Children were found dead in the food court fridges with knives still embedded in their bodies, it was claimed.  ...

Yesterday, soldiers and doctors who were among the first people into the mall after it was reclaimed on Tuesday, spoke of the horrifying scenes inside.

‘You find people with hooks hanging from the roof,’ said one Kenyan doctor, who asked not to be named.

‘They removed eyes, ears, nose. They get your hand and sharpen it like a pencil then they tell you to write your name with the blood. They drive knives inside a child’s body.

'Actually if you look at all the bodies, unless those ones that were escaping, fingers are cut by pliers, the noses are ripped by pliers. Here it was pain.’

“…In August 2004…five churches were bombed in Baghdad and Mosul.  On a single day in July 2009, seven churches were bombed in Baghdad…The Archbishop of Mosul, was kidnapped and killed in early 2008.  A bus convoy of Christian students were violently assaulted. Christians…have been raped, tortured, kidnapped, beheaded, and evicted from their homes…”

In 1948, there were some 100,000 Jews in Egypt. Today there are less than 50.

Since late 2010, Egypt’s Coptic Christian community – 8,000,000 strong – has been under assault – tens of thousands have fled.

In recent months, the Christians have been blamed for the demise of the Muslim Brotherhood’s regime
In the span of just three days, between August 14 and 16, 38 Churches were destroyed; 23 were vandalized. Fifty-eight Coptic homes were burned and looted. Eighty-five Copt-owned shops, 16 pharmacies and 3 hotels were demolished. Six Christians were killed; seven Copts were kidnapped.

In 1948, there were around 30,000 Jews in Syria. Today less than a dozen remain.

Now hundreds of thousands of Syrian Christians have fled; others are bleeding and dying, often targeted by Al Qaeda-affiliated rebels who demand that they convert to Islam or die.

Violence is not a pillar of Islam?

Oh really?
