A San Francisco-based environmental group has launched a billboard campaign in several U.S. cities asking Americans to rethink their travel plans to Alberta because of the oilsands.
Corporate Ethics International has set up up the ads in Denver, Portland, Seattle and Minneapolis "revealing Alberta to be one of the world's dirtiest destinations." The campaign is targeting U.S. cities with the most Canadian travel.
I don't know why anyone would say that about beautiful.....
pristine Alberta.

San Fran should look local before pointing fingers abroad! :)
Amen.
It has become a trend to attack the oilsands in Alberta. I have no idea why. The oilsands are in an area where nothing can grow and no one can live. Everyone needs oil, especially those who attack it. It is unlikely that the "progressives" who despise oil usage are going to walk to their "green" protests.
I lived in Alberta for three months. It really is a beautiful province.
I lived there for 10 years. It is, by far, the best province we have.
Green's, fem's and fags have figured out a blackmail plan to attack anyone who won't march with them while they collect bucks from jealous fans.
People aren't falling for it anymore.
We've seen the rather fascist approach to dissent turn people right off of certain points of view. Honey and vinegar, ect. And really, Alberta is just a nice place to visit.
