Quelle Surprise

Not shocking when one thinks about it:

The Commons last night by a 185 to 151 vote upheld cabinet’s declaration of a national emergency curbing Freedom Convoy protests against vaccine mandates. The landmark vote, first of its kind, followed 36 hours of debate that saw a minority of MPs including Liberals express unease with use of the Emergencies Act: “This is a slippery slope.”

The vote to approve the measures will keep them in place until mid-March at the latest and the Senate must also vote on the government’s request.

At any point, the Senate, House or government could pull support and the extraordinary powers stemming from the emergencies law would be torn up.

Speaking to reporters on Monday before the vote, Trudeau made it clear that there are still protesters and truckers awaiting an opportunity to come back to Ottawa, some of which are in the towns of Arnprior and Embrun, respectively 70 and 45 kilometres away from Ottawa.

(Sidebar: in typical fashion, the coward did not even show up for this bit of tyranny.)

How each chair-moistener voted.

Needless to say, quite a few are unhappy about Justin's lap-dog voted:

What does this mean?

Canada is, effectively, a dictator-state.

Legal and political options to oust the installed coward have been exhausted.

Berlin trembles in wait for the Red Army.
