A law degree does *not* entitle anyone who wants to be Prime Minister to deceive, mislead, or hide what they've been up to. Charest did not "work to help free the two Michaels and bring them home."He worked for Huawei on 5G strategy, *and* as legal strategist for Huawei heiress & CFO Meng Wanzhou. The Mikes were abducted & imprisoned in Xi Jinping's efforts to spring Meng Wanzhou. Charest was hired to help Beijing accomplish that."I never shied away from criticizing the government of China in the last few years no matter what I was doing & I've done it publicly." That's a falsehood. Not only did he shy away from it, he served as a Huawei propaganda/disinfo megaphone for the government of China.
