"I Was Being A Hero When I Ran Away!"

That's what he meant to say:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau accused Ontario Premier Doug Ford of hiding from his responsibilities during the Freedom Convoy protests, according to a readout of a private call with Ottawa’s Mayor Jim Watson.

The readout of the February 8 call between Watson and Trudeau is not an exact transcript, but was presented at the ongoing Emergencies Act Inquiry as Watson testified on the protests that overwhelmed Ottawa in February.

Ford’s government had been skipping regular meetings between Watson and federal cabinet ministers. Watson expressed his frustration in the call with Trudeau that the RCMP resources were also not committed.

“Doug Ford has been hiding from his responsibility on it for political reasons as you highlighted,” Trudeau said according to the readout.

Trudeau said it was, ”Important we don’t let them get away from that.”

Watson said he shared the prime minister’s frustration.

Yes, Justin, about that:

As the Truckers for Freedom Convoy closes in on Ottawa, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has called the movement and its supporters a “small fringe minority” with “unacceptable views.”

**

Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau tested positive for COVID-19 Monday, days after he and his family were moved to a secret location due to thousands of people protesting COVID-19 vaccine mandates in the capital, Ottawa.

**

Trudeau fled the city, removing his family to what aides called a “secret location” for “security reasons,” a politically disastrous move denounced by just about everyone with a microphone or a Twitter account, including members of his own party. Liberal MP Joël Lightbound took things a step further. He ripped Trudeau’s politics as divisive, saying his government needs to recognize people have “legitimate concerns” while adding, acidly, “Not everyone can earn a living on a MacBook at a cottage.”

What is hilarious is that Doug Ford stood by Justin only to get stabbed in his ample back.

Idiot.

Expect that Doug Ford will not survive another election, only to be replaced by a Liberal/NDP coalition.

Back to poverty, Ontario.
