The Ropes

Mitt Romney did so well in this debate that was where Obama was. It was an episode of outstanding political fustigation if ever there was one.

What I found were Romney's strengths were his attention to detail, his plan outlines and his strong rebuttal of the baseless facts Obama trotted out endlessly in hopes that it would confuse the voters. It certainly didn't help Obama to hem, haw and totally fabricate things.

Quickly now....

The middle-class: American household incomes are down 8.2% with average incomes for middle-class families falling. Exactly who in the middle-class can purchase anything as Obama claimed?

Five trillion: Obama kept claiming that Romney has a plan to cut cut five trillion dollars in taxes except such a plan does not exist.

Obamacare: the taxes increase under Obamacare including a twenty billion dollar medical device tax, a thirteen billion dollar tax increase that will limit options for money given to special-needs children, and a Medicare payroll tax hike. And, yes, there is a central board for patient care.

Housing market: a slight uptick is slow, uneven and has prices well below what they should be.
