And the Rest of It

She doesn't look crazy at all:

A Quebec woman accused of mailing poison last year to former United States president Donald Trump pleaded not guilty to added charges in a Washington, D.C., court Monday.

Pascale Ferrier, who was previously charged with threatening to kill and injure the U.S. president, now also faces charges of sending threats through the mail and violating biological weapons prohibitions.

If the government can close down small businesses, it can certainly make a law that makes no sense:

Retailers yesterday appealed to the Commons environment committee to delay a ban on six single-use plastic items for at least a year. Quick enforcement would only hurt small shopkeepers, said the Retail Council of Canada: “Businesses need as much certainty as possible.”

I'm sure it's nothing:

Global Affairs Canada is “withholding information” on more than two dozen recent cases of Canadian diplomats reportedly being assessed for or reporting symptoms of what’s become known as “Havana syndrome,” according to a letter sent to Foreign Affairs Minister Marc Garneau late last week.
