Your Corrupt Government and You

Getting what you vote for:

The federal Liberals have voted to shut down a defence committee probe into allegations of high-level sexual misconduct in the Canadian Forces.

That decision comes as the Conservatives and NDP members of the committee argue no one has yet taken responsibility and the probe should continue, but as one prominent group of survivors says the meetings have become too partisan.

Just like SNC-Lavalin and the WE "charity".

Fees paid by the federal government to third-party consultants have ballooned since the Liberals took office in 2015, with expenditures for engineering, legal and other services rising $6 billion in six years.

Costs for “professional and special services” increased to $16.4 billion in 2019-20, up from $9.5 billion when the Liberal government took office — the highest level of spending since at least the 1990s, according to public data. At the same time, the cost of paying government worker salaries has also increased sharply, from $36.8 billion before 2015 to $47.5 billion in 2020.

Newly-released figures show suspiciously high rejection rates of Disability Tax Credit claims by the Canada Revenue Agency. Paperwork should be “a lot more user-friendly,” said the vice-chair of a federal advisory panel: “There are definitely more questions to be answered by looking through the data.”

A Peter Pan who has never had to work hard in his entire life blames a total coward instead of highlighting his successes (of which there are none):

Trudeau made no mention of NDP leader Jagmeet Singh and little mention of the Bloc Québécois, focusing his remarks on O’Toole. Most public opinion polling has Trudeau’s Liberals in front, with O’Toole in second place.

 Pathetic.
