The September 11th attacks did not take the cake. The Danish cartoon crisis did not take the cake. The threat on the current Pope's life barely fluttered an eyelid. Will this be the last straw?
It's bad enough to hate a dog but to refuse a blind person because of one? What the hell kind of religion not only hates dogs but forbids compassion to the blind? The taxi drivers who refuse to help the disabled should be fired, preferrably out of a cannon. There is no health or safety concern here. It is all ideological, and there should no DAMN way the West should put up with it.

The irony here is that in many cultures dogs are revered for their almost spiritual abilities (powerful instinct)--such as in Tibetan Buddhism, where they believe that dogs can "sense sin". Maybe this is why Muslims are taught to fear dogs! Not because the animal is unclean but maybe because it's the human who is.

Dogs serve us in many ways and are loyal and friendly, something the taxi drivers seem to be incapable of.
It goes without saying that this should not be tolerated. What next? Refusing to call the fire department or an ambulance?
The drivers refused the blind passenger (apparently there has been a record of this) for nothing more than Mohommed's preference, not safety or health. And for this, the blind are without assistance. Really nice.
It's Islam that's unclean.
Bottom line is, the blind person was rejected on the basis of being blind. Even though the cabbie used the excuse of the dog--well, the DOG goes WITH the BLIND person. So in this case I believe the person should sue.
