Friday Post

Fourteen years later and still not healed.
This helps, though:

The hijackers who carried out the Sept. 11 attacks on the World Trade Center and Pentagon expressed confusion and surprise Monday to find themselves in the lowest plane of Na'ar, Islam's Hell.

Lots going on at the Fur.

Saudi Arabia won't take in "refugees" but it will provide mosques for them:

Saudi Arabia has offered to build 200 mosques in Germany to accommodate the wave of Muslim refugees there if German authorities permit, according to media reports Thursday.

Karma?

A towering construction crane collapsed on Friday during a violent rainstorm in Saudi Arabia’s city of Mecca, Islam’s holiest site, crashing into the Grand Mosque and killing at least 87 people ahead of the start of the annual hajj pilgrimage later this month.

This can't be good for the narrative:

An Iraqi couple is reportedly alleging that the father of a three-year-old Syrian boy whose body washed up on a Turkish beach was the captain of the vessel that capsized killing at least 12 people, including his family.

Reports say Zainab Abbas and Ahmad Hadi, who lost two children in the tragedy, told journalists in Baghdad that after the accident, Abdullah Kurdi begged them not to tell Turkish police that he was in charge of the boat.

Kurdi has said he paid smugglers 4,000 euros for the deadly voyage — the money his sister sent to him from Canada.

But The Wall Street Journal reported that Abbas and Hadi said that prior to the voyage a smuggler they met in Turkey introduced them to Kurdi, saying he was the captain of the vessel and his own wife and children would be aboard.

Who are the so-called refugees? These guys:

Islamic extremists in Germany are trying to recruit Syrian refugees to their cause, the country’s domestic security service has said.

See here.

Omar Khadr failed to die in Afghanistan and that is what bothers me:

A judge has agreed to ease some bail conditions for former Guantanamo Bay prisoner Omar Khadr and is considering other changes that would increase his freedoms.

Khadr's curfew is being eased so he can attend night classes at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology in Edmonton, where he plans to study to become an emergency medical technician.

(Sidebar: do you know how else was a medical technician? The man Omar Khadr killed on purpose.)

This man was a trillion times better than Omar Khadr could ever hope to be.

Russia called on Friday for military-to-military cooperation with the United States to avert "unintended incidents" as it stages navy exercises off the coast of Syria, where U.S. officials believe Moscow is building up forces to protect President Bashar al-Assad.

Why bother, Russia? You don't think that Obama the ISIS supporter will stand up to you, do you? He gave Iran (your customer) the means to carry on with its efforts to nuclearise. Why all this bluster?

Facebook posts about marijuana and cancer have cost the Liberals a Vancouver-area candidate, who resigned hours after Justin Trudeau distanced himself from her.

In a post Thursday, Joy Davies said she had decided after much consideration to step down, but she made no apologies for her past comments.

(Sidebar: anti-science moron.)

Liberals are anti-science and don't forget it.

The New Democrats would immediately halt Canada’s bombing campaign against Islamic State militants and withdraw special forces trainers who have been instructing Kurdish peshmerga fighters, leader Tom Mulcair said Thursday.

Does he want to lose the election?
