The Chinese embassy in Ottawa claimed Monday that the one million faulty N95 masks that arrived in Canada from China last month were the result of a “contractual” issue that has now been fixed.

A federal mask supplier AMD Medicom Inc. yesterday said it never shipped any goods made by Chinese prison labour to Canada. Communist Party authorities in Shanghai had directed prisoners to work at a Medicom plant in Shanghai, according to the local Party press: “The town government called for volunteers to help mask maker Medicom.”

As a public servant, Dr. Tam has both a duty and obligation to inform Canadians on what is really going on within the WHO regarding COVID-19, especially while utilizing their recommendations.
