Your Idiot Puppethead of State and You

Knowing that only the Chinese can fell him, the perennially skittish and self-absorbed Vichy puppethead tries rekindling the spark that duped the ever-gullible:

Yes, now about all of that:

**

As countries around the world debate whether mandatory vaccinations would help defeat Covid-19, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is betting they will also help him win re-election.

**

“They are extremists who don’t believe in science, they’re often misogynists, also often racists. It’s a small group that muscles in, and we have to make a choice in terms of leaders, in terms of the country. Do we tolerate these people? ..."
**

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau shot down the idea of negotiating changes to government policy and referred to an “armed insurrection” during discussions about convoy protests, according to notes tabled with the Emergencies Act inquiry on Thursday.

Workers who lose their job over a refusal to vaccinate against COVID-19 may not be eligible for employment insurance benefits, according to updated guidelines from the federal government.

**

Canadians taking part in demonstrations against Covid-19 mandates were threatened with inadvertently relinquishing their pets if arrested by the police, authorities warned on Thursday.

Well, you lying son-of-a-b!#ch, now we have a better understanding of why you want bill C-11 passed and soon.

It's not only lies. It's incompetence, too:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wants Canada to produce some of the last barrels of oil to be used, but it should be processed into petrochemicals, not burned.

That was part of his response to a student asking about shipping LNG to Canada. His answer also extended into oil, gas, and substantial increase of nuclear power. And months after his government acted to kill and LNG project in Quebec, he spoke of being “open to projects that actually continue to get natural gas out.”

But that wasn't a good business case, was it, Justin?

And after he swore up and down that he wouldn't take Albertan and Saskatchewan resources, too (yet).

You read that right: Canadian governments are giving Volkswagen $13 billion to build a $7 billion plant. It’s the kind of bold leadership you can only get from sophisticated economic experts like Justin Trudeau and Doug Ford.

Of course, we shouldn’t oversimplify; it’s not like Volkswagen is just standing around with its hands out. No, this subsidy — sorry, investment — will lead to a projected 3,000 good-paying local jobs. And all for the modest taxpayer contribution of just $4.3 million per job! Clearly, it would be irresponsible to take a pass on this kind of incredible economic opportunity.

**

Industry Minister François-Philippe Champagne today is under committee order to surrender a copy of documents regarding his agreement to pay Volkswagen Canada more than $13 billion to build a factory in St. Thomas, Ont. Champagne ignored an earlier demand from the Commons industry committee to detail all giveaways to VW: “It is a win for the world.”

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has told NATO officials privately that Canada will never meet the military alliance’s defense-spending target, according to a leaked secret Pentagon assessment obtained by The Washington Post. The document’s anonymous authors say Canada’s “widespread” military deficiencies are harming ties with security partners and allies.

But there is money to sue veterans and vanity conflicts in Haiti and Ukraine.

An underfunded defense department can do that.

Right ...

Justin's younger, uglier brother won't have to testify in the case of Chinese interventionism in his dad's foundation:

The prime minister’s brother, Alexandre (Sacha) Trudeau, will not have to testify before a parliamentary committee probing the Pierre Elliott Trudeau Foundation and allegations of foreign interference in federal elections.

I'm sure that the Trudeau family will slink out of a probe into said foundation:

The Commons public accounts committee yesterday ordered hearings on the Trudeau Foundation. MPs by a unanimous 10-0 vote also requested that the Canada Revenue Agency scrutinize the fund: “It is in the public interest to see an investigation into its finances, donations and in particular any possible misdealing.”

This foundation.

The foundation for which cabinet members met the Chinese very frequently

But I digress ...
