No Country For Anyone

For Jews, or Christians, or even random citizens:

A Jewish-owned grocery store in Toronto has become the victim of an apparent antisemitic arson attack, in what local officials are saying is further evidence of a ramp-up in “lawlessness” targeting the Jewish community.
Around 6 a.m. on Wednesday, Toronto Fire responded to smoke issuing from the rear doors of International Deli Foods, a Jewish-owned grocery store located near the campus of York University.

Firefighters were able to extinguish the blaze quickly and without injury, but news photos from the scene showed that the fire had broken out near graffiti reading “Free Palestine.” An inspection of the building also revealed smashed windows.
Toronto police say the fire is being investigated as a suspected hate-motivated crime, while a string of Toronto officials denounced the blaze Wednesday as an attack against the city’s Jewish community.

The failure by vote-counting politicians to act forcefully before Jew hatred exploded to a level not seen in Canada for decades.

To illustrate the enormity of the threat, consider the hate-filled rant of Islamic State spokesman Abu Huthaifa al-Ansari last week calling for attacks on Jews around the world, to “kill them wherever you find them.”

Protesters marching against the Israeli military assault in Gaza set fire to Star of David flags and chant “we charge you with genocide.” Activists in Toronto plastered an Indigo store with posters accusing its Jewish owner with “funding genocide.” Now the government of South Africa is going to the International Court of Justice with a claim that Israel is guilty of “genocidal” acts.

Israel, naturally, has responded with angry indignation. Government spokesman Eylon Levy called the South African charge an “absurd blood libel.” The White House, meanwhile, called the accusation “meritless, counterproductive and completely without basis in fact whatsoever.”

Canada should add its voice to the condemnation.

Under Trudeau’s post-national vision of Canada, the common ground shared between Canadians is just that: the land we all live on, enclosed within the same border.

Addressing Parliament in October, following a series of antisemitic crimes committed against Canadian Jews in the aftermath of Hamas’s attack against Israel, Trudeau made sure to praise the “shared values” we all supposedly have.

“Let us remember who we are as Canadians and what we stand for here and around the world: respect for everyone’s rights and freedoms and the rule of law; respect for different languages, ethnicities and religions; respect for human life; and respect for each other,” he said.

Yet his leadership has brought about a much different reality. It should be a shared Canadian value, for example, to abhor calls for annihilating Jews and celebrations of terrorist butchery. In reality, it’s not — the past few months have provided ample evidence.

Police in Toronto, Ontario were caught on video hand-delivering a to-go box of hot Tim Horton’s coffee to Hamas supporters on Saturday who were blocking a bridge near a Jewish neighborhood. The coffee was brought to the bridge by protesters who were not allowed to join the blockade. Two police took the coffee and a bag of snacks and delivered them to the Hamas supporters blocking the bridge.

Laura Brabant, spokesperson for the Toronto Police Service, posted twice on X Twitter to defend the coffee delivery to the anti-Semitic terrorist supporters:

“Our officers are managing a dynamic situation. In performing a helpful act today, our officer’s motivation was to help keep tensions low and should not be interpreted as showing support for any cause or group. Our officers continue to work to de-escalate these demonstrations”

And:

“Officers in Toronto are often publicly criticized for heavy handed tactics used during demonstrations. Today, given a very dynamic situation, officers continued to work to de-escalate these demonstrations and maintain calm and the public’s safety”

Bull. Sh--.

The police officers gleefully picked a side.

Just look at their faces.

Nearly 100 Canadian churches have been burned or vandalized since 2021.

As of January 2, 2024, 96 churches across Canada have been attacked since media claims of unmarked graves at residential schools in 2021, according to a map created by independent media outlet True North

Churches and other Christian employers continue to be the target of the Justin Trudeau Liberal’s discrimination initiative when it comes to hiring summer interns, per documents obtained by Blacklock’s Reporter.

The Department of Employment previously required applicants for its Canada Summer Jobs grant to sign an oath of agreement on Liberal policies surrounding issues such as abortion — or miss out on funding.

In 2017, Trudeau’s government ordered all applicants for summer student grants, regardless of what field the job is in, must sign a federal oath supporting “the right to access safe and legal abortions” — but was sued by Toronto’s Right to Life Association and Calgary’s Centre for Bio-Ethical Reform.

After a total of 1,559 applicants who refused to take the oath were denied funding for summer students, the feds settled out of court and in 2018, Cabinet rewrote the oath to require applicants to pledge to “respect individual human rights.”

However, in 2021 Redeemer University College of Hamilton, ON was denied funding after Trudeau’s Liberals deemed it “high risk” for Christian values.

Church representatives are now petitioning the House of Commons human resources committee to push back against the discriminatory practice, calling out federal officials for moving the process into secrecy.

Stop thinking that the pro-communist Liberals are there to help you.

Go Gdansk or go home.

Ontario’s police watchdog says a 21-year-old woman was found dead in a Thunder Bay home after officers did not respond to a 911 domestic disturbance call.

The Special Investigations Unit says Thunder Bay police got the call at 2 a.m. on Dec. 30 from a home on Ray Boulevard.

The SIU says officers did not respond to the scene.

The watchdog says when police got a second 911 call, also from the house, to “cancel” the call for service, officers again did not respond.

An SIU news release says a third 911 call was made from the house to indicate the woman was dead, and only then did officers respond.

Police did not immediately return a request for comment and an SIU spokesperson says it’s early in the investigation and more information will be released “in due course.”

A 22-year-old convenience store clerk from Peterborough has been charged following a confrontation with a baseball-bat wielding robber.

The cops aren't your friends.

They have chosen a side and it is the side of their tyrannical masters.
