Indeed!:
Parks Canada yesterday designated the Kamloops, B.C. Indian Residential School a national historic site but omitted all reference to alleged graves in a nearby orchard. Claims in 2021 by the Tk’emlups te Secwepemc First Nation that it discovered 215 children’s graves on the schoolgrounds prompted an international outcry. No remains were ever recovered: “The possibility of unmarked burials is not a determining factor for designation.”
You can't make reference to "graves" or "cover-ups" if there have been no investigations.
Also - why not sharia courts while one is at it, and Stone Ages cultures did not have the jury system given to us by the Romans:
Expanding a municipal-style court system on First Nations is worthwhile but will take time, says a Department of Justice report. Researchers studied First Nations in four provinces that already enforce bylaws on traffic, waste management, retailing and landlord and tenant disputes: “Be patient.”
