What Is It That We Need China For, Anyway?

The North American vassal state acquiesces:

The government of Canada has awarded an estimated $6.8 million contract to a state-owned Chinese company to supply security equipment for 170 embassies, consulates and high commissions around the globe.

The contract for conveyor-style X-ray machines was awarded to Beijing-based Nuctech Company, a company owned by the Chinese government and founded by the son of former General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, Hu Jintao.

**
Global Affairs Minister François-Philippe Champagne says his office is “looking into” a deal with a Chinese-state owned firm to be a provider for Canadian embassies buying new X-ray security equipment.

Shut up, Mortgage Man.

Pretty rich from a country that hates black people:

A report to the United Nations from the federally-funded Chinese and Southeast Asian Legal Clinic (funded by Legal Aid Ontario , a publicly funded non-profit) has cited Canada for "anti-China sentiment and white supremacy."

According to the report, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has failed to combat a "surge of hateful violence" that came with the pandemic, according to Blacklock's Reporter.

“In contrast to the image of Canada as multicultural and welcoming, many Canadians have been emboldened to use the pandemic as a license to exhibit hate and racism,” the group wrote in a statement to the United Nations. “Moreover since the outbreak of the pandemic, anti-Asian hate speech has proliferated on social media platforms fueled by right-wing extremists who are using the pandemic as an opportunity to stir up racist ideologies," it continued.

(Sidebar: I'll just leave this right here.)

“The collision of conspiracy theories, anti-China sentiment and white supremacy has rendered dangerous results, including the movement of racist theories and messaging from the fringe to the mainstream."

The well-funded group received a federal grant totalling over $300,000 to help combat anti-Asian racism," the Department of Canadian Heritage reports.

Why would anyone think that China is responsible for a virus that crippled the world?

Oh, yeah ...

From the party of Holocaust denial:

The Green Party is calling for Canada to demand that Huawei CFO Meng Wanzhou have her charges dropped by the United States, saying “Canada cannot continue to be used as a pawn in a trade dispute between the United States and China.”
