The fact that a sitting prime minister can suspend a criminal investigation and this was never made into an election issue should partially hang on Andrew Scheer who had every opportunity to raise it and rub it in Justin's smug, ugly, little face and didn't:
Justin might attempt to be like Kathleen Wynne or Hillary Clinton and deny any obvious malfeasance (before totally going off the deep end and accusing people of being Russian agents).
If senior citizens (and their pensions and the money they've put into the economy) feel left out, they are in similar company:
This is what happens when a country loses its moral bearings.
Senior citizens, euthanasia exists for you for a reason. You are put out to pasture because no one cares about you. The parties will wait until you die out before putting stock into voters blocks they know won't change allegiances or question their motives.
That is the country you built.
Also - only Justin made this unresolved problem and its after-effects a federal election issue.
In case one forgot.
If she is sitting as an independent, then she should be counted as such:
Does not compute:
They are straying from the path, I tell you!
Conservative Leader Andrew Scheer has written to the government’s top bureaucrat to ask him keep a list of any requests he gets to delete records — suggesting that a defeated Liberal government might illegally try to destroy documents related to the SNC-Lavalin affair.
Scheer is reminding the clerk of the Privy Council that all records related to SNC-Lavalin, like other government documents, must be preserved.
Liberal Leader Justin Trudeau has been accused of improperly pressuring former attorney general Jody Wilson-Raybould to head off a criminal prosecution of the Quebec engineering giant.

“I feel ignored by all the contenders. There’s lots of help for families and young people, but where’s the help for seniors?” – Dot
“I’ve heard a lot about families getting breaks, but so far nothing for lower-income seniors. Our cost of living raises are a joke.” – Marion
“I see no concern from politicians in any forward planning to accommodate the elderly. It should already be in place.” – Bill and June
“I, and my senior friends here in Manitoba, find it demeaning that as a group we are virtually unrecognized. It was US who built this country in the ’60s, ’70s and ’80s.” – Rob

If she is sitting as an independent, then she should be counted as such:
It turns out ejected Burnaby Conservative candidate Heather Leung will still be running for the party after all. ...
But when the votes are counted, ballots cast for Leung will still be tallied as votes for the Conservative Party, Elections Canada confirmed to Global News.
Does not compute:
Nearly half of those polled want the federal carbon tax cancelled. What’s perhaps most surprising is that more than a fifth (22 per cent) of NDP-loyalists and Green voters (20 per cent) want it cancelled, too. But the Liberals and Conservatives fall in line with party policy, with 54 per cent of Liberal voters wanting to keep the tax while the majority, 89 per cent, of Conservative voters want it abolished.
They are straying from the path, I tell you!
