O’Regan, like Freeland, like Trudeau, like the ubiquitous Gerald Butts, has about as much regard for Alberta, and in O’Regan’s particular case, at least as much acquaintance with it, as Albania. This is just one more signal, albeit a very foolish one, that the Great Greening is about to smack us all in the mouth. That regard for a prime industry, proven reserves and a present workforce in the oil and gas sector, is no more party of their (to be announced in the throne speech) revolutionary recovery schemes, than a cancellation of the useless carbon tax.
