Experiencing Scandals Differently

It took Justin's mouthpiece, Katie Telford, days to come up with denials worthy of any master thespian:

Opposition parties rejected a call from Conservatives for Prime Minister Justin Trudeau to fire his chief of staff over the handling of a complaint against Canada’s former top soldier.

The Tories’ motion called for Katie Telford to lose her job after a committee heard from a former Trudeau adviser suggesting that in 2018 she knew of a sexual misconduct complaint involving former defence chief Jonathan Vance.

Trudeau has defended Telford by saying no one in his office knew the issue was of a “Me Too” nature.

(Sidebar: yes, the Groper actually said that.)

She can't be worth the money she is being paid.

It says a lot about their opinion of their boss that they are constantly afraid to confront him with bad news. Are they afraid they’ll get yelled at? Get fired? That it will leave Trudeau in a grumpy mood?

It’s his job to know these things. If Butts, Telford and the others are too skittish, he needs to find someone who’s willing to take the risk, and with enough confidence in the prime minister’s skills to trust he’ll be able to deal with bad news. Unless he can’t find anyone with that level of confidence in him.

It's called plausible deniability.

The moron can honestly claim not to know anything because no one walked him through anything.
