Maybe Darwin WAS Right

If you question where the missing links have gone, see below.

Four out of ten Koreans between the ages of twenty and forty can't give the correct date of the war that separated the well-fed and materialistic South from the starving and utterly brain-washed North. It's as though they became victims of Canada's history program. Their views on the Chinese and Soviet-backed invasion are dim, at least verbally.

These college students do not need the benefit of certain special interest groups. They've got the irresponsibility and selfishness thing down-pat.

This managing director is glad to shoot himself in the foot for Cannes-award winning actress, Jeon Do-Yeon. Good. She's like Helen Mirren, I think. She doesn't need to shill for anything like lesser actors and actresses do. That is a very un-Korean thing to do but it's all about substance, baby.

For people who still think Islam is a woman-friendly religion of peace and hugs need to view this. Here is lovely bit of misogyny:

The weakness with which women were created is the secret behind their attractiveness and appeal to their husbands. It is the source of women’s seduction of men, and one of the elements strengthening the bond between husband and wife. This is one of the wondrous miracles of Allah: The strength of a woman lies in her weakness. Her power of seduction and appeal lie in her emotions, which might overpower her mind at times. ...

People still whine about Saint Paul. He never went anywhere near this crap. In Islam, a woman, stupid, weak and yet wily though she is, is to go to her hsuband no matter what she is doing. In the middle of changing the baby? Tough. Get a move on, girl, before he whacks you with the frying pan.

What was said in the letter of Saint Paul to the Ephesians:

22Wives, submit to your own husbands, as to the Lord. 23For the husband is the head of the wife even as Christ is the head of the church, his body, and is himself its Savior. 24Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit in everything to their husbands.

25Husbands, love your wives, as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her, 26that he might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27so that he might present the church to himself in splendor, without spot or wrinkle or any such thing, that she might be holy and without blemish.[a] 28In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself. 29For no one ever hated his own flesh, but nourishes and cherishes it, just as Christ does the church, 30because we are members of his body. 31"Therefore a man shall leave his father and mother and hold fast to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh." 32This mystery is profound, and I am saying that it refers to Christ and the church. 33However, let each one of you love his wife as himself, and let the wife see that she respects her husband.

I don't recall reading in that the Koran, or from the loony Saudis, how, though a
wife must respect her husband, a man must lay down his life for her and his
family. It is likened to Christ laying down His life for the Church. O, the chivalry! Is this seen in the Islamic world? Is here, here, here, here or here? Maybe in Saudi Arabia where women must cover from head to toe and not drive cars. Wait. That doesn't sound right.

The Taliban is on a mission, and that mission is to be the scum of the earth, as witnessed here.

Moving on....

Cameron Diaz is still stupid.

But, but... I thought it was supposed to change everything. Gee, I guess it was all a gigantic waste of taxpayer's time (and money...and democracy...and common sense...and decency...and personal views...and pretty much everything).

I hardly have the space to type how completely stupid the world is at the moment. I'll just stop here. It's far too depressing to continue.

I read somewhere about this Arabic scholar that said the Koran has been mistranslated. Instead of 72 virgins waiting in Paradise, it's a 72 year old virgin. Hmmmm...

Islam: The Religion of Pieces.

Another great post--kudos!

It's hard to post comments on a long post like this when you can't see the post while you're writing comments. But I read them all. You're doing great!

P.S.

I recently purcased "The King and the Clown" from Yes Asia...starring Lee Junki! I don't know, say what you will but I think he's absolutely adorable. I recently saw him in an interview on You Tube with english subtitles and I thought I would end up making fun of him. I was surprisingly impressed by his maturity. And he's not fey or girlish at all. He doesn't come off like an idiot and he's not arrogant. These are good qualities. Anyway, I was curious about this movie so I will give it try when I'm back from vacation. I'm sure he's not Choi Min-sik, but we'll see.

Oh, about Cameron Diaz: total and COMPLETE idiot. Just shocking.
