Falling Flat On One's Face

Making speeches about staying in school might seem innocuous but coming from someone who pats himself on the back ALL THE TIME and has never really worked hard it just seems so flat. It just reeks of "cult of personality" aided by adoring masses who care more about their benefits than if their students have the requisite knowledge to make their way in the world.
