It is moral laziness and cowardice, as well complete intellectual abrogation to conclude that all religions are the same or similar in founding, rituals and tenets. Anyone who suggests or states such things exposes their non-existent mental rigour and spinelessness. It's the kind of reactionary huffing and puffing from the semi-literate Twitter masses, not the observations of one who has seen and studied how the world actually is. Until people have the wontons to actually inform themselves properly and be critical of offending cultures, this idiocy and its fatal effects will not go away.
When was the last time Pope Francis said:
Where in the Bible does it say "kill those who insult the prophet"?
Are there roving bands of Mormons hanging homosexuals in Tehran?
If all religions are the same, do monotheistic Sikhs believe in the same sets of gods the Hindus do?
How many rabbis were involved in the murder of one hundred and forty-one students and staff?
When the mental midgets of the day have an answer, I would really like to hear it.
When was the last time Pope Francis said:
Fight those who believe not in Allah nor the Last Day, nor hold that forbidden which hath been forbidden by Allah and His Messenger, nor acknowledge the religion of Truth, (even if they are) of the People of the Book, until they pay the Jizya with willing submission, and feel themselves subdued.
