Nearly ten years of the worst governance the country has seen was not enough to dissuade Canadian voters from embracing it again.
This is why they deserve the installed government they are going to get.
Bright spots aside, the unserious nation of Canada can look forward to higher taxes, the hidden carbon tax that never went anywhere, no pipelines, home equity taxes, Chinese influence everywhere one goes, the removal of tax-exempt status of charitable organisations such as churches, and - ultimately - the encroachment of the American government when it becomes obvious that Canada is not on the verge of collapse but actually collapsing.
Enjoy the decline, Canada.
