No one believes that, do they?
Liberals if re-elected will make a third attempt at regulating the internet, Prime Minister Mark Carney suggested last evening. Carney made the remark after being heckled at a rally in Hamilton, Ont.: ‘Pollution that’s online washes over our virtual borders from the United States.’
Actual pollution, difference in thought, nuance in debate, or pointing out that Carney had a terrible tenure at the Bank of England, is stealing Tory ideas, is totally blocking the answer as to where he pays taxes, and is as trustworthy as a particularly hungry and rabid badger?
One cannot have it both ways.
Either Canadians are clever enough to parse through media in all forms and, therefore do not need a governmental vanguard to censor everything, or they aren't.
The truth is the government simply doesn't like those nasty tweets.
