To understand the generosity of such an act, we must look at the broader picture:
China has one of the worst human rights records on the planet.
The Chinese sell arms to whoever will buy them.
The Chinese will not buy Chinese-produced toys but are glad to give them to Canadians (see the conditions in this toy factory).
China has a permanent seat on the UN security council. It has used that very position to oppose Israel.
Now China offers the Palestinians- who want Israel eliminated- one million dollars.
What human beings they are.

Hasn't Canada given millions in aid to China via Trudeau? Shame.
I would like to see what kind of conditions prevail in that Chinese toy factory when they don't know, in advance, that a non-Communist photographer is coming that day. Outright boycott has seemed to be in order for a LONG TIME now. It wouldn't even have to single out that nation, if there is really as much reason to be afraid as everyone seems to think.
i.e. "Any items manufactured, partially-manufactured, packaged, or otherwise worked on by persons making less than $3/hour will no longer be imported or sold in the following Western nations ..."
That would be easy enough, wouldn't it?
