True Merit

This is what "A for effort" looks like.

Whenever one hears about getting a grade simply because they show up for class, remember those who truly risked everything in pursuit of a dream. That deserves the highest praise.

Unfortunately we live in a non-merit based society. Many people feel they deserve something without having earned it. Those that fairly earn their reward are relied upon to help those who do not.
