Monday Post

Quickly now...

Didn't I say this before?

Barack Obama is refusing to give Ottawa the quick answer it wants on the Keystone XL pipeline in spite of a State Department report that dispels the U.S. President’s main climate-change fears.

The White House said Sunday it will wait at least another 90 days to make a final decision as it awaits vital input from other government departments and agencies, raising the possibility that the U.S. President may avoid a decision on the controversial project until after the November U.S. midterm elections for fear of alienating Democratic voters.

Obama will not allow an economically viable US or Canada to exist while he plays golf nor will he stop pandering to the caliphate.

We all know it.

Related: Warren Buffet has oil transported by train:

Replacing the Keystone XL pipeline with oil-laden freight trains from Canada may result in an average of six additional rail-related deaths per year, according to a U.S. State Department report that is adding to pressure for President Barack Obama to approve the line.

Why intelligence tests for voting should be mandatory:

According to a new survey, released last week, that perception is changing: not only are Canadians less confident about the state of our economy, 40 per cent think Stephen Harper is doing a poor job managing it.

This, I presume, is based on Trudeau's experience as a substitute drama teacher because God knows THEY of all people know how to run things financially. Whatever we do, let's not bring up the mess McGuinty and Wynne (Liberals) now have Ontario in.

And why are they allowed to remain?

A senior intelligence official says some 130 Canadians are working abroad in support of extremist activities — including about 30 in Syria alone.

Michel Coulombe, director of the Canadian Security Intelligence Service, told a Senate committee the individuals' activities include paramilitary operations, training in weapons and explosives, logistical support, terrorist fundraising and studying in extremist schools.

This is a very sad situation:

A community is rallying to help a 32-year-old Victoria man facing an almost unimaginable set of circumstances as he awaits his first child's entry into the world.

Dylan Benson's pregnant wife suffered a medical emergency after Christmas and was declared brain dead.
She remains in the B.C. hospital on life support until doctors feel the fetus is viable enough for them to perform a caesarean section.

And now, an early Saint Valentine's Day cartoon. Enjoy:
