One must remember that when one observes Ontario Premier Doug Ford's snivelling apology:
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau is indicating the federal government is looking at additional COVID-19 measures to protect international borders but won’t stop flights into Canada from India.
India recorded the world’s highest daily tally of new COVID-19 infections on Thursday — 314,835 cases — with most hospitals full and running out of oxygen.
Health officials across northern and western India including the capital, New Delhi, said they were in crisis.
Also - at least the French can laugh at their favourite buffoon - kind of:
The Journal de Montreal newspaper is being criticized for running a photo from Prime Minister Justin Trudeau’s 2018 trip to India on its front page Thursday to accompany a COVID-19 story.
Trudeau is wearing traditional Indian clothes and holding his hands together in prayer beside a caption that reads, “The Indian variant has arrived.”
He's your fault, Quebec.
