Just awful:
Families and friends of the 159 people missing after the collapse of a condo building in a Miami suburb were clinging to hope on Friday as rescue workers sifted through a mountain of debris for signs of life, having found four dead so far.

Now, a nine-page report from structural engineering firm Morabito Consultants in October 2018 was released (pdf) by the City of Surfside over the weekend, warning about the condition of the concrete structure.
“Abundant cracking and spalling of varying degrees was observed in the concrete columns, beams, and walls. Several sizable spalls were noted in both the topside of the entrance drive ramp and underside of the pool/entrance drive/planter slabs, which included instances with exposed, deteriorating rebar,” said the report. “Though some of this damage is minor, most of the concrete deterioration needs to be repaired in a timely fashion. All cracking and spalling located in the parking garage shall be repaired in accordance with the recommendations of ICRI [International Concrete Repair Institute].”
Well, this doesn't bode well for the Narrative:
A Canadian doctor who blew the whistle on severe neurological adverse reactions suffered by patients in his small First Nations community in British Columbia after accepting the Moderna COVID-19 mRNA injection has been disciplined by a Provincial health authority for promoting vaccine hesitancy.
After Dr. Charles Hoffe went public with his experiences in early April of multiple First Nations patients in his village of Lytton who suffered from severe and unique Bell’s Palsy and other neurological adverse effects after receiving the Moderna vaccine, Hoffe was disciplined by BC’s Interior Health Authority only a few weeks later.
“On 29th of April, 2021, the Interior Health Authority (IHA) suspended my clinical privileges, for the crime of causing ‘vaccine hesitancy,’ for speaking out about my vaccine injured patients. So I am no longer allowed to work in the ER,” Hoffe told True North in a May 25 article.
Hoffe says he is still able to see patients in his private practice, as it is not governed by the IHA, but because he has lost his position in the community’s emergency room where he has served the village for 28 years, his income has been slashed in half.
In an April statement by the IHA regarding Hoffe’s claims, spokesperson Carol Fenton seemed to make light of Hoffe’s concerns when she said “It has been a challenge for us to investigate this thoroughly and take reports seriously.”

The Indian Bar Association (IBA) sued WHO Chief Scientist Dr. Soumya Swaminathan on May 25, accusing her in a 71-point brief of causing the deaths of Indian citizens by misleading them about Ivermectin.
Now, why would he want to do that?:
Sen. Josh Hawley (R-Mo.) on Thursday appealed to the U.S. Commission on International Religious Freedom (USCIRF) to consider adding Canada to its special watchlist—alongside the likes of Afghanistan, Cuba, and Iraq—in response to arrests of Canadian pastors who held services that allegedly violated COVID-19 restrictions.
Oh, yes:
Police cars swarmed him as he drove home from his church. They ordered him out of his car and made him kneel down on a busy highway.
Heavily-armed SWAT police arrested him. But he’s not a terrorist. He’s Artur Pawlowski, a Christian pastor. And he’s now in jail.

Artur suspected the man might be suffering from mental illness, so he quickly paid for his goods and attempted to leave the store. Artur told us that as he was walking to his vehicle, the man charged at him, attacking him repeatedly in front of his daughter and punching him in the head. Artur is well-trained in martial arts, but the assailant was an older man. Artur feared he might injure him if he fought back, so he attempted to retreat repeatedly instead of striking. Artur photographed the attacker and his vehicle before the man left the scene.
Ultimately, Artur reported the incident to police, who asked if he would like to press charges. Artur requested that the man simply be issued a warning. He doesn’t want the guy's life turned upside down. Regardless of what he did, Artur forgave him.
Look how China treats its Asian vassal state:
North Korea is experiencing a food crisis after imports from China dropped by approximately 90 percent between April and May this year, a situation that North Korean dictator, Kim Jong-un, described as “getting tense,” according to state media.
Last week, the Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) reported Kim as saying that “the people’s food situation is now getting tense as the agricultural sector failed to fulfill its grain production plan due to the damage by typhoon last year.”
In the aftermath of a damaging typhoon last growing season, and amidst the current global COVID-19 pandemic, prices for corn and white rice soared amidst reports that a single kilogram of bananas costs as much as US$45.00 in the country.
It’s suspected that paranoia over COVID-19 most likely contributed to North Korea closing its border with China in Jan. 2020, worsening an already dire food crisis and making it difficult for North Korean farmers to procure fertilizer.
Stay the course, little fella. You're doing super!:
Right before Richard Scott William Hutchinson was born, his doctors delivered the news that he had "a zero percent chance of survival," his parents said.
Richard, the world's most premature baby to survive, proved them wrong: He just turned 1.
