What if someone threw a Canada Day party and no one came?:
There are renewed calls to cancel the Canada Day holiday this year, as Canadians grapple with the recent discovery of an unmarked burial site at a former residential school in B.C.
Does it even matter?
Canada is an airport where people may come and go as they like.
There is no impetus to learn the majority language nor embrace the values that at least made Canada a functioning country: hard work, stoicism, thoughtfulness and a willingness to defend its values or secure the safety of others.
Voters are morally and mentally lazy. Who else would let a snowboard instructor and his robber barons steal from them and insult them at every turn?
So don't have a Canada Day party.
It's not like anyone cares anymore.
