And the Rest of It

Oh, dear:

(Sidebar: page 1150. Just ... wow.)

To wit - Liberals and their voters believe in the physical reality of an unborn child (except for this moron - if they can find out that the baby is a girl, they can kill her. especially in a country with ZERO laws and restrictions on abortion) when it's a girl - because it's the current year:

A private member’s bill from a Conservative MP to ban sex-selection abortions was voted down in the House of Commons on Wednesday by a margin of 248 to 82, but about two thirds of the Conservative caucus voted in favour of it.

Conservative leader Erin O’Toole voted against the bill, but 81 of 119 Conservative MPs voted in favour. The only other “yes” vote was from independent MP Derek Sloan, the former Conservative leadership candidate who was ejected from the caucus in January.

Again, the debate is not closed, there are no laws in this country regarding abortion and nodding in approval for this barbaric practice only makes you sociopath in a pressed suit.

Now what will Third World countries process for us?:

The Commons yesterday by a 179-151 vote passed a private bill to ban plastic waste exports. Conservative MP Scot Davidson (York-Simcoe, Ont.), sponsor of the bill, called the trade a “shameful practice.”

There won't be an election (Justin's Chinese bosses simply wouldn't allow it) but that hasn't stopped anyone from stacking the deck:

The Liberal Party's national campaign co-chairs have declared a "state of electoral urgency," a procedural move that will allow the party to speed up the nomination processes for local candidates ahead of the next federal election.

If this process is anything like Canada's, the Poles will never see that pipeline built:

Denmark has withdrawn permission for a planned pipeline that was designed to bring Norwegian gas to Poland, citing the need to assess if the project would harm the habitats of certain mice and bat species.

The decision represents a setback to Poland’s energy security efforts. Poland has been counting on the pipeline, called Baltic Pipe, to help limit its dependence on Russian energy sources.

I'm sure it's a misunderstanding:

A 20-year-old Seattle man is facing a terrorism-related charge after being arrested while trying to board a flight to join the Islamic State group, the U.S. Justice Department said Tuesday.

Elvin Hunter Bgorn Williams was arrested Friday at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport as he checked in for a flight to Cairo, according to a criminal complaint unsealed Tuesday in U.S. District Court in Seattle.

The complaint said members of a Seattle-area mosque who had been trying to de-radicalize Williams were the ones who tipped off the FBI that he continued to espouse violence and extremism.

Another part of he world to ignore:

North Korea is facing a shortfall of more than 1.2 million tonnes of grains to feed a population that is already suffering from malnutrition, according to a new report, raising the spectre of another possible famine in the isolated nation.

"North Korea has been identified as experiencing a food crisis, with many households experiencing undernourishment or minimal levels of nutrition," said the South Korea state-run Korea Development Institute think tank on Thursday.

"People's basic household assets are being sold off to procure food. This is not sustainable and action needs to be taken immediately."
