The Ever-Changing COVID Narrative

Is it paranoia fatigue or are people tired of the bullsh--?:

For many months, conservatives have been predicting that the CDC will redefine what it means to be vaccinated.  In the distant past — that is, more than two years ago — being vaccinated meant you'd had an injection that left you forever immune to a disease.  This became problematic when the COVID vaccines did not leave people immune to the disease.  Now there are boosters, so the CDC has announced that you're not vaccinated unless you've also had your booster.  Of course, even with that booster, you're still not immune, as the troubles in Israel reveal.

It was always obvious that, when the initial shots failed to protect people against COVID, the leftist establishment would have to redefine COVID vaccinations to justify the continued pressure on people to take them.  The establishment started with the narrative that the shots, even if they didn't prevent COVID, meant people would be less sick.  And indeed, you'll hear that line from every single person who took the shots and still got COVID.  They always say something like, "I would have been much sicker if I hadn't had the shot."

But still, there's that little problem of the supposed vaccine not actually preventing people from getting the disease at all, which is the historic expectation for vaccinations.  Instead, the pressure was on for people to get the booster.  That was the point at which people opposed to mandates and vaccine passports said, "Just you wait.  Pretty soon, you'll need to have three shots to be considered vaccinated for purposes of mandates and passports."  When they said that, they were castigated as liars ...

And, as invariably turns out to be the case when it comes to all things COVID, conservatives were correct.

Responding to a question about why the CDC is not changing the definition of the phrase to include a booster dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, the health leader told reporters that it is working to “pivot the language to make sure that everybody is as up to date with their COVID-19 vaccines as they personally could be, should be, based on when they got their last vaccine.”

“So, importantly, right now, we’re pivoting our language. We really want to make sure people are up to date. That means if you recently got your second dose, you’re not eligible for a booster, you’re up to date. If you are eligible for a booster and you haven’t gotten it, you’re not up to date and you need to get your booster in order to be up to date,” she added.

I think what she meant to say is that the experimental flu shot is not working, their ineffectiveness makes the passports moot and the paranoia establishment must walk back as soon and as quietly as it can.

Also - oh, now they're going easy on everyone:

Mandating vaccination is not recommended, says the deputy chief epidemiologist with the Public Health Agency of Canada. Dr. Howard Njoo told reporters Friday immunization was “a voluntary choice” and that positive education was preferable to coercion: “It doesn’t have to be because there’s a mandate.”

But it's not like you tried stopping it.

Just like with family doctors Canadians won't have, the administrator-rich institution too big to fail now can't find hospital-workers.

They are using kitchen staff:

An Orangeville hospital has issued an urgent call for help as the facility faces a major staffing shortage.

SEIU Healthcare, the union that represents 60,000 healthcare workers, tells CityNews the situation is so dire at Headwaters Health Care Centre that kitchen staff have been called in over the past 24 hours to assist nurses on inpatient floors.

“Because of the nursing shortage experienced in this hospital, like many, they are scrambling to find some way to assist registered practical nurses, particularly on the wards to try and take care of their patients,” said Sharleen Stewart, SEIU president.

Who could have imagined that firing medical professionals would have a negative effect on the day-to-day healthcare of Canadian taxpayers?

Is that so?:

Covid caused fewer cases of serious illness among kindergartners than originally claimed, says an internal federal briefing note. The Public Health Agency also ruled out any vaccine mandate for young children and said parents’ views must be respected: “Caregivers are supported and respected during the decision making process.”

Why, that sounds like they have something to hide:

The Liberal government is proving to be unusually stubborn in withholding the details of an alleged breach at the country’s highest security microbiology lab . The National Microbiology Laboratory in Winnipeg is the only lab in Canada certified to handle catastrophically dangerous pathogens such as smallpox or the Ebola virus. In July, 2019, Chinese researcher Xiangguo Qiu was escorted from the Winnipeg lab by police ostensibly for sending an unauthorized sample of Ebola to the Wuhan Institute of Virology – the facility that would later find itself at the centre of speculation that it accidentally sparked the COVID-19 pandemic. The Opposition Conservatives want the government to release the details of Qiu’s case to the House of Commons after first scrubbing them of any information that might compromise national security. But according to the Globe and Mail , the Liberals are sticking to a plan to have the documents seen only by a select group of MPs, who would then be told by a panel of retired judges which sections they would be allowed to publicize.

This twenty-four hour flu has kept Sarah Palin from plastering the New York Times with the lawsuit it deserves to lose:

Sarah Palin, the 2008 Republican U.S. vice presidential candidate and former Alaska governor, has tested positive for the coronavirus, forcing a U.S. judge on Monday to delay her defamation trial against The New York Times.

I hope that this is not true:

Big Grifting Movement is silent on this.

Why?:

"Get out!" both sides yelled at each other in an elevator. "Do not touch me!" one of the "Karens" roared multiple times, before striking the man. "You just hit me!" the man exclaimed in response. "Did you just hit me?!" he repeated back.

To which, the woman chanted: "Black Lives Matter!" The other woman held the elevator door open, motioning towards the exit. "Get out!" she said again.

"Yo, this is racist," the black man said. "Can you stop? Stop! Stop!...You need to stop. I'm not getting out!" he insisted during the 30-second incident.

Twitter replies were quick to point out that the hysterical attack filmed on social media in the tight enclosure also spotlights the hypocrisy of virtue-signalling liberals who tout support of the left-wing Black Lives Matter movement.

"White libs have lost the plot. What a weaponized propaganda machine that they chant this phrase while actually abusing a black man. It's not a protective armor that negates personal responsibility to treat others with dignity," remarked writer Jessica Vaugn whose tweet garnered over 1,000 likes on Twitter.

What fresh hell is this?:

Reports of an “Ebola-like hemorrhagic fever virus” spreading in China have recently surfaced, with the disease being described by one Chinese-state media outlet as “sharing similarity in early-stage symptoms with COVID-19.”

According to China’s Global Times, the northwest Shaanxi province has seen several cases of hemorrhagic fever which the report describes as a “natural epidemic disease with high fatality rate.” So far, the communist country has not released an exact number of fatalities from the disease which it says is spread by rodents and not “human to human” transmission.
