I would regard that as "coercive control":
Experts in Canada and around the world define coercive control as a pattern of behaviours ranging from harassment and intimidation to isolating someone from family and social supports, all with the aim of keeping the victim under the abuser's control.
Can the "experts" recognise "coercive control" in locking people in their homes, having relatives and neighbours inform on them, threatening them with dismissal from their jobs if they do not get an untested jab, and, finally, being beaten, stomped, arrested and having their money seized without cause or warrant?
