A Post For A Friday

It’s the merry season of Chuseok.

What should South Koreans be thankful for?

Well, this guy for one.

Also, South Koreans live in a free republic where they have plenty to eat. They could be these poor saps

“As Chuseok approaches there is a rise in smuggling activity, and this is being used by the border patrols and NSA to make a killing off ordinary people,” the source went on to allege. “Some particularly unsavoury NSA agents first show the relatives the broken limbs of a family member prior to demanding money.”

Earlier this week, Trudeau took a shot at the middle class, saying that politicians rank below used car salesmen and journalists on the list of trusted professions.

Oops.

But it's not like he's running for PM or anything.

Oh wait...

Testifying before the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee, Admiral Mike Mullen said that the direction given to Special Operations Command Africa commander Lt. Col Gibson was to "hold in place" on the night of the attacks.

Gibson is the boss of Gregory Hicks, the former deputy chief of mission in Libya who had testified that a "stand down" order was given to Special Forces who wanted to help Americans who were under assault in Libya.

Mullen also said that U.S. aircraft were not at the ready while the attack was ongoing. He claimed there was a "physics problem" in addition to a "time and distance problem" that prevented the United States from providing immediate air cover.

And:

President Barack Obama's decision to nominate former Goldman Sachs executive Bruce Heyman as the U.S. ambassador to Canada is being slammed by an American nonprofit investigative news organization.

The Washington-based Center for Public Integrity says that the appointment is just the "latest in a parade of big-dollar [Obama] campaign backers slated to represent U.S. interests abroad."
The most transparent administration is transparently corrupt.

So butt-hurt is Obama that the House passed a resolution to de-fund Obamacare that Obama now refuses to negotiate the debt limit according to Speaker John Boehner.

Obama also added: WAAAAAAAAAAAHHHH!!!

Reporters are retards.

Pope Francis is warning that the Catholic Church's moral edifice might "fall like a house of cards" if it doesn't balance its divisive rules about abortion, gays and contraception with the greater need to make the church a merciful, more welcoming place for all.

“The dogmatic and moral teachings of the church are not all equivalent. The church’s pastoral ministry cannot be obsessed with the transmission of a disjointed multitude of doctrines to be imposed insistently. Proclamation in a missionary style focuses on the essentials, on the necessary things: this is also what fascinates and attracts more, what makes the heart burn, as it did for the disciples at Emmaus. We have to find a new balance; otherwise even the moral edifice of the church is likely to fall like a house of cards, losing the freshness and fragrance of the Gospel. The proposal of the Gospel must be more simple, profound, radiant. It is from this proposition that the moral consequences then flow.”

Nothing liberal here.

But because the popular press is particularly retarded, Pope Francis has had to repeat AGAIN what the Church has been saying about the popular press' pet issue.

Well, this must be embarrassing:

A leaked draft of a report by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change is understood to concede that the computer predictions for global warming and the effects of carbon emissions have been proved to be inaccurate. …

The summary also shows that scientist have now discovered that between 950 and 1250 AD, before the Industrial Revolution, parts of the world were as warm for decades at a time as they are now.

Despite a 2012 draft stating that the world is at it’s warmest for 1,300 years, the latest document states: “'Surface temperature reconstructions show multi-decadal intervals during the Medieval Climate Anomaly (950-1250) that were in some regions as warm as in the late 20th Century.”

The 2007 report included predictions of a decline in Antarctic sea ice, but the latest document does not explain why this year it is at a record high.

The 2013 report states: “'Most models simulate a small decreasing trend in Antarctic sea ice extent, in contrast to the small increasing trend in observations ...

“There is low confidence in the scientific understanding of the small observed increase in Antarctic sea ice extent.'

In Australia yet again to sound the warmist klaxon, Suzuki blames Tony Abbott – Surprise! Surprise! – for speeding the coming climate catastrophe. Since this meshes nicely with the convictions of a news organisation that long ago abandoned straight-bat reporting for partisanship and advocacy, the frequent flyer has been granted open slather to float as many furphies as can be squeezed into 735 words of sucker-ready bilge.

If Fairfax retained even a shred of journalistic integrity, Suzuki’s screed would have been fact-checked, spiked and his submission returned with editors comments, just to let him know that a pronounced sense of moral superiority doesn’t grant permission to make stuff up – or leave inconvenient stuff out.

It is said that there are those who groom children for unseemly purposes. Case in point:

OISE's Centre for Urban Schooling is presenting, along with York University and U of Toronto's Centre for Sexual Diversity Studies, a symposium called  "BODIES AT PLAY: Sexuality, childhood and classroom life."

OISE is a faculty whose graduates were instrumental in formulating the extremely controversial curriculum that was widely condemned for exposing highly sexualized content to young children. An attempt to introduce that curriculum by OISE professor and accused child pornographer Ben Levin, when he was Ontario's Deputy Education Minister, was withdrawn by then-Premier Dalton McGuinty following the outcry from outraged parents across the province.

Remember- these are the compassionate, logical types:

Your blogs are the wrost I have ever read on the internet and that is saying a lot. How can you be so judgemental? Just because everyone’s life is not as perfect your’s, apparently. You are a bad writer and I hope your are not getting paid for this because someone is getting ripped off.”

Wow. Somebody *hearts* dead kids.
