This is not a post about the media blackout of the Kermit Gosnell case, a Philadelphia abortionist on trial for the deaths of eight people- seven infanticides and the death of a woman who died at his clinic, nor is this post going to talk about the utterly filthy conditions Gosnell exposed his low-income patients to. And I certainly won't mention his untrained staff.
One could talk about why the popular press is ignoring this or the truly incomprehensible, soulless individuals who would defend or cover for him and the entire industry and circumstances that allowed this actually atypical thing to go on. Why bring up the idea that the defense or deflection of such things is because pride prevents these people from having one moment of self-awareness that would force them to conclude that their political opinions and the conscious decisions to wrap their egos in them were wrong?
Nope. Not going to talk about it.
