Let Them Eat Coronavirus

Coronaviruses are for proles ...

Justin's Shelly Miscavage-ed wife has tested positive for the coronavirus but Justin isn't worried:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau said he has not been examined for COVID-19 based on the advice of health care experts after his wife Sophie Grégoire Trudeau tested positive for the virus.

“It was explained to me that as long as I do not show any symptoms at all, there is no value to me being tested,” Trudeau said at a news conference Friday.

Interesting.

Anyone who has travelled on the same flight, train, bus or taxi cab has to be tested for this virus. If Justin is so attached to his missus, shouldn't he be tested?

Why, it's like the two have been living apart.

As of now, the entire House of Commons - including Justin who is isolating himself from work - is off until the middle of April. The public sector and the teachers get several weeks off, too.

Perhaps this is time for the country to heal.

I don't know.

But there are emerging cases of the coronavirus in Saskatchewan and Manitoba (as they are a part of western Canada, they don't matter), a baby in Ontario is one of the latest victims, Ontario judges are suspending juries due to this virus that everyone was reassured would not be a problem (watch the mistrials for that one) and maybe, possibly, perhaps, people might not want to travel to hot-zones and let the infected from those areas come to us.

While US President Donald Trump has seen the writing on the wall (and it says: "THIS CHINESE-ENGINEERED VIRUS IS VERY SERIOUS."), the federal Liberals dupe has not:
Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland spoke with U.S. Secretary of State Mike Pompeo today to stress the importance of keeping the Canada-U.S. border open after the Trump administration banned most European travellers from entering the country.

Canada, as of late, has been a sh---y neighbour to the US and has done very little to contain this virus that the Chinese unleashed onto the globe. I would not be one bit surprised if Trump shut down the US-Canada border, nor would I blame him.

But who would be blamed while Justin is hiding from work?

Little Miss Cries-Alot.

That's who.

Who is hurt the most by this virus?

The affluent and vacuous:

The world’s richest people are chartering private jets to set off for holiday homes or specially prepared disaster bunkers in countries that, so far, appear to have avoided the worst of the Covid-19 outbreak.

**
The wedding industry is facing disruptions amid the new coronavirus pandemic, as it’s impacting destination and cruise ship weddings, dress and decoration deliveries, and guests are having to cancel last minute.

Wedding insurance that some couples opt for to protect their event might not cover coronavirus-related scenarios — especially if guests are simply unwilling to travel rather than being forced to stay home.

Well, if you think it will help:

Neither Gargamel nor the coronavirus could stop a record-breaking Smurf gathering in France.

More than 3,500 people painted their faces and hands blue, wore pointy white or red hats, and came together on Saturday in the small town of Landerneau in northwestern France.

The event came a day before the country banned gatherings of more than 1,000 people in an effort to contain the coronavirus.
