This Post Is 100% Earth-Friendly

(No polar bears were harmed in the typing of this post)

Justin was always an idiotic frat-boy. By all political logic, he should never even have left elementary school let alone assumed the office of the prime minister.

Yet, here we are:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau made a surprise appearance at an annual mining conference in downtown Toronto on Monday to pitch the idea that having a national policy framework to reduce the country’s carbon emissions to net zero by 2050 is good for the economy.

It marked his second consecutive appearance at the annual Prospectors and Developers Association of Canada conference.

This year, however, Trudeau appeared one week after Teck Resources Ltd. cancelled its application for a permit to build a $20.6 billion mine in Alberta’s oilsands, with its chief executive Don Lindsay citing a lack of clear policy in Canada about carbon taxes and other climate change legislation. The prime minister’s appearance also came after weeks of protests temporarily stopped the construction of the Coastal GasLink pipeline in British Columbia and inspired dozens of other protests including rail blockades that paralyzed parts of the country’s economy. ...

Trudeau also pointed to plans by Rio Tinto and Alcoa, announced in 2018, to build a research facility in Quebec that would produce the world’s first carbon-emissions-free aluminum, as an example of how Canada is a leader in clean natural resource development.

(Sidebar: powered with what? Pixie dust?)

“That’s the type of investment we want to attract,” he said.

Before he took the stage, Ian MacKay, chief executive of the federal government agency Invest in Canada, said that recent statistics show that foreign direct investment actually increased in 2019 by 19 per cent to $66.8 billion.

(Sidebar: yes, about that ... China always moves into countries it wishes to exploit.)

Trudeau cited the figure but also said it would be difficult for industries, such as mining, as the country seeks to transition to a low-carbon economy in the future. He cited federal incentives for companies that use clean vehicles as one way his government was trying to ease the transition.

The economy is crumbled, not crumbling. What Justin, his American and Chinese financiers and his emotionally retarded electorate are doing is burning the remaining pieces to ashes.

Also - oh, shut up! Your stupid self would vote his racist @$$ back in:

According to an Ipsos poll done for Global News, 60 per cent of Canadians do not approve of the current government and 62 per cent say the same about protests that have intermittently blocked rail lines, roads, border crossings and access to government buildings for almost a month.

That's how it is in a country ruled by a mafia:

As we know, the hereditary chiefs the Liberals are negotiating with appear to have stripped three women of hereditary titles, which goes against the rules that are supposed to be in place within Wet’suwet’en territory, considering that titles are passed down in a matrilineal system.

In fact, the main face of the hereditary chiefs, and the individual the Liberals have elevated – Chief Woos – has only had that title for a year, and many believe the real Chief Woos is a woman in the community who was stripped of her title.

Now, the Liberals have been totally played, as their ‘historic deal’ apparently “recognizes the hereditary system,” which will boost the power and influence of the hereditary chiefs at the expense of the elected leaders and community members.

It also will encourage more illegal blockades, since they resulted in government action.

Worst of all, the deal doesn’t even address the Coastal GasLink dispute, which the hereditary chiefs say they still oppose.
Wait - why is there an incest system in place to begin with? Why is anyone dealing with these people?

Well, Mr. Moe, you can either bleed the east or move out of the way for someone who will:

As the legislative session resumed, Wexit Saskatchewan is looking to join the roster of registered parties in the province in anticipation of the 2020 election.

In a video posted on Saturday, Eric Hill, lead registration co-ordinator for Wexit Saskatchewan, said the application to register as a political party exceeded the requirements outlined by Elections Saskatchewan.

According to Hill the application had 3,599 signatures and more than 100 signatures from 12 constituencies. The minimum to qualify is 2,500 signatures and 100 signatures from 10 constituencies.

Posts from the unregistered party’s social media accounts often attack Premier Scott Moe and the Sask. Party for being “Liberal.”

“That’s not my job to worry about them,” said Moe, speaking to reporters on Monday. The premier said it’s for the people of the province to judge the policies put forward by Wexit parties, and he was more concerned about the only other party in the legislature.

Moe recognizes many people in the province are frustrated by Ottawa’s actions, but the Sask. Party has denied the possibility of a referendum on western separation, a sticking point for Hill.

And that's why you may be consigned to the dustbin of history.

Also: - we have far too many social liberals. That's why the child abuse of transgenderism exists:

What’s missing in action is fiscally conservative Conservatives. Unless by “fiscally conservative” you mean favouring big deficits, huge spending increases, Soviet-style health care, supply management etc. Harper even bombarded me with daily press releases about handouts to companies. (And lost.) And Peter MacKay was right there, or left, pushing for more more more and more. If he’s a fiscal conservative, I’m Batman. (Also, polls say people want fiscally conservative big spenders. Tricky.)

Behind all the tactical pitfalls is a philosophical one. What if it’s not possible to be fiscally conservative but socially liberal? Sure, you can pretend, slick up your platform with balanced budgets and spending increases and march in a pride parade with a sign saying cut taxes. You can even be confused. But what if the core of conservatism is the recognition that you need rules?

A fact I am sure the judicial activists presiding over Meng Wanzhou will ignore:

China’s Huawei Technologies, which for years has denied violating American trade sanctions on Iran, produced internal company records in 2010 that show it was directly involved in sending prohibited U.S. computer equipment to Iran’s largest mobile-phone operator.

Two Huawei packing lists, dated December 2010, included computer equipment made by Hewlett-Packard Co and destined for the Iranian carrier, internal Huawei documents reviewed by Reuters show.

This Iran:

Iran has nearly tripled its stockpile of enriched uranium since November in violation of its deal with world powers, U.N. atomic watchdog agency said Tuesday, while raising new questions about possible nuclear-related activities and undeclared nuclear material at three locations.

This shouldn't be shocking considering that Canada is a country where people voted for legalising drugs:

Two more Canadians, this time a man and a woman from Vancouver, have been stopped and arrested at an airport trying to get into Australia with illegal drugs hidden in their luggage, police say.

The case further illustrates a growing trend of seizures at Australia’s borders.

A 27-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman flew into Melbourne from Vancouver on Saturday, where Australian Border Force (ABF) officers found four one-kilogram packages of methamphetamine inside each of their four suitcases, for a total seizure of 16 kilos.

The couple, whose names have not been released, were flagged for additional scrutiny.

I'm sure these two cretins are annoyed that another country has laws it wishes to enforce and are wondering when Justin will spring them free.

Whatever. The Chinese have had slave labour for ages and no one cared:

Uighur labour in China has been implicated in the supply chain of dozens of well-known companies, including Apple, Amazon and Bombardier, according to a new report by an Australian think tank.

Did you forget your older, fatter brother, my dear?:

In her first known official statement, the younger sister of North Korean leader Kim Jong Un on Tuesday levelled diatribes and insults on South Korea for protesting over her country’s latest live-fire exercises.

Believed to be in her early 30s, Kim Yo Jong is in charge of propaganda affairs and has frequently appeared at her brother’s major public events including summits with U.S. President Donald Trump and other regional leaders. But her statement carried by state media, the first in kind, indicated her political status has been further elevated.

Wow. People totally have a handle on this coronavirus:

Ontario now has 20 cases of the novel coronavirus, with two new people added to the tally today.

**

Chinese social media platforms began censoring references to coronavirus and keywords critical of the government's handling of the infection as early as December, Toronto-based cyber research group Citizen Lab said in a report on Tuesday.

Oh, quelle surprise.

**

China, you @$$hole:

China’s U.N. ambassador said Monday that North Korea is suffering “negatively” from the coronavirus and called for greater flexibility from the United States and other countries on lifting sanctions against the country.

It's bad enough that you gave everyone this virus AND you repatriate North Korean defectors and now you are using them as bargaining chips.

You're disgusting.

**

That's nice:

Pope Francis has tested negative for the coronavirus after suffering a slight cold which led him to cancel several public gatherings, newspaper Il Messaggero reported Tuesday.

The Rome paper said Francis, 83, underwent the test as he has been suffering from a cough, a slight temperature, a sore throat and chills. The illness sparked speculation in Italian media that he had contracted the virus.
