I'm Sure It's Nothing to Be Concerned With

Look the other way:

China has dispatched a team to North Korea including medical experts to advise on North Korean leader Kim Jong Un, according to three people familiar with the situation.

The trip by the Chinese doctors and officials comes amid conflicting reports about the health of the North Korean leader. Reuters was unable to immediately determine what the trip by the Chinese team signaled in terms of Kim's health.

A delegation led by a senior member of the Chinese Communist Party's International Liaison Department left Beijing for North Korea on Thursday, two of the people said. The department is the main Chinese body dealing with neighbouring North Korea.

China has stepped in to help its valued employee:

China announced on Thursday that it would provide an additional $30 million to the World Health Organization after President Trump directed his administration to cut funding to the agency.

“China has decided to donate additional $30 million in cash to WHO to support its global fight against COVID-19, in particular strengthening developing countries’ health systems,” foreign ministry spokeswoman Hua Chunying wrote on Twitter. “China already donated $20 million in cash to WHO on March 11.”

Trump announced the U.S. funding cut on April 14, accusing the WHO of “severely mismanaging and covering up the spread of the coronavirus.” The U.S. provides about $400 million to the WHO annually, and is by far the largest contributor to the agency, covering 15 percent of its budget. By contrast, China annually contributes 0.2 percent of the budget.

Squirrel!:

The manager of the nation’s $300 million pandemic medical supply stockpile yesterday admitted the Public Health Agency had no idea what shortages existed prior to Covid-19. Sally Thornton, vice-president of the Agency, told the Commons health committee that managers were having to make “course corrections” as acute care hospitals run short of masks, gowns and gloves: “I am in charge.”

So you're to blame?

Accountability is a word that Canadians do not like:
The Treasury Board yesterday invoked employee safety in withholding pandemic records including details of sole-sourced contracts. Opposition MPs cited “an awful lot of questions” over concealed files: ‘Accountability is key.’

Also:

The Canadian government most likely would have been aware of the ProMED reports and has, according to senior health officials, also had personal contact with agencies in other countries, notably the U.S. Centres for Disease Control.

Earlier this month, the military's health intelligence unit acknowledged it also had been writing regular briefings on the novel coronavirus since early January.

None of which was ever acted.

That needs to be stressed.

Why? Because criminals vote:

As the CCP Coronavirus Crisis continues, many Canadians are starting to ask a very disturbing question:

Why are our innocent seniors locked away in person care homes where the virus is spreading out of control, while prisoners – including dangerous and violent offenders – are released from jail for their own safety?

And Sock-Boy has let them down. He can always find other voters to replace the elderly.
