Why is it only anti-black racism? Is it the only sort of racism that exists? Are other forms of racism acceptable and not at all morally evil?:

In the aftermath of George Floyd‘s death, Claire’s employer sent out several company-wide memos offering support to the Black community. The company also committed some money to anti-discrimination training for staff.

When Claire and her fellow Black colleagues pushed back and asked for more, she alleges they were ignored.

“We heard nothing, and then (the company) sent another mass email … but it’s like, you didn’t even address the first problem,” Claire said.

First of all, they did it to shut you up. Secondly, it is virtue-signalling, vain and fruitless. Thirdly,  what more would you want?
 
Trends and crusades are no way better a society.




Only Liberals can harass women and get away with it. Their voters would have it no other way:

Marwan Tabbara, an Ontario Member of Parliament who left the Liberal caucus after it was revealed he faces serious criminal charges, had a brief court date Friday, during which his case was briskly adjourned to next month.

Tabbara, 35, was charged with two counts of assault, one count of break and enter and commit an indictable offence, and one count of criminal harassment on April 10.

The charges were not revealed at the time by Tabbara or Guelph Police Service, however, and did not become public until June 6 after National Post and two other media organizations reported it.

Tabbara, MP for Kitchener South-Hespeler, who chaired Parliament’s subcommittee on International Human Rights, then announced he was “stepping back from the Liberal caucus” but not resigning as an MP.

He has not yet entered a plea on the charges.

Oh, I don't know about a "free pass". Justin has certainly been raked over the coals - and rightly, too - over his colossal failures:

Former prime minister Stephen Harper felt the wrath of the Canadian mainstream media after failing to secure a UN Security Council spot in 2010. But as announced on Wednesday, Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has now also lost the bid, yet mainstream media are letting him off the hook. 

Yes, about that:

Trudeau’s pursuit of the UN seat was bigger than him — it was a manifestation of a larger ideological narrative on the Canadian left that Insists all foreigners love Canada and international institutions crave Canadian leadership. Both myths swatted down by an indifferent world.

That is a fantastic summation of the Liberals' egos and the over-estimation of Canada's political and social importance in the world.

Justin and his colleagues are resting on laurels and cash that someone else made. They produce nothing of any value nor do they build something upon the existing wealth or excellence. They believe that Canada is a special snowflake on superficial grounds just as they believe that they are special snowflakes on superficial grounds because no one has ever disabused them of those notions.

(Sidebar: and this after calling Canadians racist and having no core identity and being in a post-national state. Pick a lane, guys.)

Canada is an overgrown, middle-aged Peter Pan with an inflated ego and nothing to offer.

The world has treated it as such.


Also - would another twenty years, as opposed to four, make the difference to a simpering, bearded soy-boy whose gifts of diplomacy include pointing at his socks?:

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau blamed Canada’s failed attempt to gain a UN Security Council seat on entering the race late — a decision he deliberately made in 2016 after other countries’ campaigns were well underway.

“It was the prime minister’s decision to enter late,” said Adam Chapnick, a professor at the Royal Military College and author of a book on Canada and the UN. “He has identified the exact reason that Canada did not perform as well as the government wanted it to.”

Justin is so politically astute that he could identify the reason for his failure and not why he didn't abandon his mission or try harder to be a serious leader? Really?
