Hedy Fry Is Delusional

But don't take my word for it:

Residents of Prince George are angry about Vancouver Liberal MP Hedy Fry's statement in the House of Commons that the northern B.C. community is a hotbed of racism, and people there are burning crosses.

Fry's statement was unmistakable, as she talked about the problem of racism.

"And Mr. Speaker, you don't have to go too far. You can just go to British Columbia in Prince George where crosses are being burned on lawns as we speak," she says.

The MP for Vancouver Centre later clarified her remarks. She says there had been only one cross burning in Prince George, and she says she was given that information by the city's mayor.

Don Zurowski is the acting mayor. He says Fry is wrong. "It's not an activity that has taken place in our community, and it did not take place in our community," he says. "I would suggest that Ms. Fry would retract it."

Prince George city councillor Bruce Strachan says Fry has gone over the edge with her statement. He says Prince George is a tolerant community and its residents don't burn crosses.

Prince George's city council is demanding an apology from the Liberal MP.

Purnima Sharma is a member of Prince George's large Indo-Canadian community. She goes to schools in an effort promote racial tolerance.

"You cannot say racism is not prevalent in this community," she says, "but to the extent that there are crosses burning here, I haven't been aware of that and it's never come to my attention."

The Prince George RCMP says it has no reports of cross burnings.

Oh, there's more!:

In a July 16 post on X, Liberal MP and abortion champion Dr. Hedy Fry stated that she was attending a conference to discuss the “risks” posed to mothers and their newborn babies from legislation restricting abortion and contraception.

“Reelected Co-Chair of Can Assoc of Parls for Pop Development (CAPPD), with Sen McPhedran,” she posted with a picture of the Zoom meeting. “Concern at AGM [Annual General Meeting] over the risk to Women’s health & that of their newborns as extreme right govts deny access to contraception & safe abortion globally.”

Remember - someone voted for that.
